SharePoint
In a SharePoint document library with primedocs, the primedocs button appears in the toolbar. With it you create a document from a template, and primedocs saves it directly in this library.
Applies to: primedocs Web in SharePoint.
Prerequisites: your organisation has set up the primedocs app for SharePoint in the library. You need a Microsoft 365 account. Only templates released for creation in the browser are available.
Creating a document from SharePoint
- Open the document library where the document should be stored.
- Click primedocs in the toolbar. primedocs Web opens.
- Choose a template, fill in the fields and create the document, see Creating a document.
- The document is in the library and folder you started from.
If something does not work
| You see | What helps |
|---|---|
| No primedocs button in the library | Ask the site owner to check the app deployment and configuration. |
| The document is not where expected | primedocs uses the library and folder from which creation was started. Check the starting folder. In case of an unexpected location, inform support. |
How the SharePoint app is set up is described for administrators under SharePoint.
