CMI
primedocs is integrated into CMI, a Swiss records management system (GEVER). You create documents straight from a case file. CMI passes on case number, contacts and other details, and the finished document is filed in the case file automatically, without downloading and uploading.
Applies to: CMI Web with the primedocs web integration set up.
Prerequisites: your organisation has set up the CMI integration. Which CMI fields flow into a document has been prepared by the layouter in the template.
Creating a document from CMI
- Open the case file in CMI.
- Click primedocs in the CMI toolbar. primedocs Web opens in Connect mode (banner at the top), embedded or in a new tab depending on the setup.
- Choose a template. Fields passed on by CMI are already filled. Complete the rest.
- Create the document. It is filed in CMI in the right place.

If something does not work
| You see | What helps |
|---|---|
| Details from CMI are missing in the document | Have the data transfer from CMI and the mapping in the template checked (layouter or support). |
| No live preview | The live preview is not available in Connect mode, so the preview image remains. |
| The document does not appear in the case file | Check creation or filing back: look at the message in primedocs Web (also under Executions) and inform support. |
How the integration is set up is described for administrators under CMI.
